Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect the vibration of a vehicle caused by unbalance of tires accurately by constituting an apparatus of a plurality of driving motors, vibration detecting members and vibration transmitting roller, respectively, and rotating four wheels individually or at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: Front wheels 12 and rear wheels 13 of a vehicle (especially a four-wheel driving vehicle) 7 are mounted on vibration transmitting rollers 8. The vehicle 7 is supported with a holding means 11 for fixing the vehicle. Driving motors 3 can be driven individually or at the same time. When each motor 3 is driven, the driving force is transmitted to each roller 8 through a power transmission means 10. The front wheels 12 and the rear wheels 13 are independently rotated by the rotations of the rollers 8, and the state close to the actual running is reproduced. The abnormal vibration, which is generated in the rotation of the front wheel 12/rear wheel 13, is transmitted into each vibration detecting member 5 through each roller 8. The vibration of the front wheel 12/rear wheel 13, which is detected with each detecting member 5, is sent into a CPU 15 as the vibration signal (frequency), and the shaking and the shimmy of the vehicle 7 can be analyzed.
