To provide a vibration detector, a hologram device, a vibration detection method of the vibration detector, and a recording method of the hologram device capable of controlling irradiation of a hologram recording medium with a laser beam from a laser device according to a vibration level.
In the hologram device in which a coherent data beam corresponding to data to be recorded and a reference beam are incident on a recording medium and which records the data on the recording medium as a hologram, the hologram device includes a vibration detection beam generation part in which a vibration detection beam for detecting the existence/absence of the vibration having incoherence to the data beam and the reference beam is incident on the recording medium; a light reception determination part determining whether or not the position where the vibration detection beam propagated and emitted after incidence is received is within a prescribed range; and a shielding part for shielding at least one of the data beam and the reference beam incident on the recording medium when the light reception determination part determines that it is not within the prescribed range.
