Title:
VIBRATION DETECTOR, SELF-UTTERANCE DETECTOR AND HEARING AID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000278797
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a self-utterance detector that can well detect only vibration of a voice band propagated to an inner wall of an external auditory miatus.

A detection section 13 made of a soft resin that is formed to have a cap form whose one end is open, a metallic pipe 12 and an electret capacitor microphone 11 form an enclosed space 10, and the detection section 13 is pressed into contact with a rear side of an ear plug and assembled to an ear mount of a hearing aid. When a person wearing the hearing aid inserts the ear plug to its external auditory miatus, the detection section 13 is in contact with the external auditory miatus via an umbrella part of the ear lug. When the person wearing the hearing aid makes utterance, the vibration by the utterance propagates to the detection section 13. Since both the umbrella part and the detection section 13 are made of a soft resin, they are vibrated similarly in well tracking to even the vibration of the soft inner wall of the external auditory miatus. An inner pressure of the enclosed space 10 is changed and is detected by the capacitor microphone 11. On the other hand, since an external voice and a voice amplified by the hearing aid are air vibration, this sensor less using the soft vibrating body cannot detect the voice signal at all.
