Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a vibration gyroscope which can accurately eliminate null waves causing output drift and can be realized inexpensively.
CONSTITUTION: An FB signal B outputted from a feedback(FB) terminal 4 of a gyro vibration element is similar, in terms of its shape, to the drift generation constituent of parasitic waves (null waves) for generating temperature drift. Then, the FB signal is properly amplified by an amplifier 8 and is inputted to a synthesis circuit 10 as a cancellation wave of the null wave constituent. On the other hand, a detection signal C detected from a detection terminal 5 in sub direction is amplified by an amplifier 9 and is fed to the synthesis circuit 10. The synthesis circuit 10 eliminates the drift generation constituents of null waves from the detection signal C. A detection signal D outputted from the synthesis circuit 10 is a signal where the drift generation constituent of the null waves is eliminated. In this case, the signal with no drift constituents is output via a smoothing circuit 12.
