Title:
VIBRATION-INSULATING RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR AUTOMOBILE AND VIBRATION-INSULATING MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3669874
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vibration-insulating rubber composition for an automobile having vibration-insulating characteristics characterized in a loss tangent (tan δ) of at least 0.3 (which means a comfortable car driving) and a dynamic-to- static modulus ratio of not more than 2.5 (which means a low noise in vehicles) and remarkably excellent heat resistance without injuring molding processability.
SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises an unvulcanized rubber composition comprising a natural rubber and/or a synthetic rubber, a vulcanizing agent and acetylene black, and gives a vulcanized sheet having vibrational characteristics characterized in a loss tangent (tan δ) at a frequency of 15 Hz of at least 0.3 and a dynamic-to-static modulus ratio of not more than 2.5 at a frequency of 100 Hz (vibrational amplitude ±0.1%), the acetylene black having an average thickness (Lc) of a crystalline layer of at least 25A, an ash content of not more than 0.02 wt.% and an iodine adsorption number of at least 80 mg/g. The vibration-insulating member for an automobile comprises a vulcanizate of this rubber composition adhesively bonded to a metal.
