Title:
VIBRATION INSULATION DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0972373
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the occurrence of settling with the lapse of a time even when a heat resistant rubber material is used in a body rubber part and to make heat resisting performance compatible with a settling resisting function by using an air spring function.

A body rubber part 2 to support a vibration source, such as an engine, and suppress the generation of vibration is mounted in a seal state on the opening part on one end side of a cylindrical body metal fitting 1 and a mounting metal fitting 3 is mounted on the opening part on the other end side of the body metal 1 through caulking fastening. A diaphragm 4 and a stopper and partitioning metal fitting 5 positioned on the body rubber part 2 side are arranged in an internal space formed with the members described above serving as an outer wall, and fastened in a seal state against the body metal fitting 1 through caulking togetherwith the mounting metal fitting 3. An internal space is partitioned into three air chambers 6, 7, and 8. The two air chambers between the diaphragm and the body rubber part are intercommunicated through vent holes formed in the partitioning metal fittings, and the air chambers 6, 7, and 8 perform air spring operation.
