To provide a vibration isolating component which is manufactured much easier than any conventional item using a viscous fluid and free of such a risk that viscous fluids leak out of the inside.
The vibration isolating component 1 includes a first fixation part 3A, a second fixation part 3B, a spring part 5, and an elastomer part 7, wherein the first 3A and second fixation parts 3B are formed with a through-hole 13. As the elastomer part 7 is formed of a styrene-based elastomer having vibration suppressing property, there is no need to perform the fluid encapsulating work at manufacturing nor there is risk of the fluid leaking during service. The elastomer part 7 is formed with a cavity 21 which can be formed by inserting a core from the through-hole 13 at forming the elastomer part 7 and leaving it in place. At this time, the size of the cavity 21 may be adjusted by changing the inserting amount, so as to change the vibration damping characteristics.
