Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolating device for an automobile whereby centering of a rubber member can be performed while obtaining a soft spring characteristic relating to an initial load.
SOLUTION: A vibration isolating device 10 is constituted such that an annular rubber member 18, 20 is arranged in the upper/lower of an opening part 16 of a car body 14, a stopper 22, 24 is arranged in the upper/lower thereof, a sleeve 26 is inserted also in a hollow part, and the rubber member 18, 20 is held between the stoppers 22, 24 in a pre-compressed condition by arranging a nut 28 in a tip end of a rod 12 received to the sleeve 26, and tightening it in an axial direction. Here, by mounting the sleeve 26 in a press fit condition to the upper/lower rubber members 18, 20, a periphery of the upper side rubber member 18 is only restricted, centering is performed in both the rubber members 18, 20 relating to the car body 14, a space part 34 is ensured in a periphery of the lower side rubber member 20, and a soft spring characteristic against an initial load is obtained.
