Title:
VIBRATION-ISOLATION CONSTRUCTION OF PILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3575733
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breaking of a pole, particularly breaking in a pile head by horizontal force from a superstructure.
SOLUTION: In the vibration-isolation construction of the piles, a superstrure 1 is borne by the piles 2 while pipe bodies 3 as horizontal-force resistance members are projected from the underside of the superstructure 1 so that the piles 2 are penetrated into the pipe bodies 3 and buried into a ground 4. The pipe body 3 may be formed beforehand of a hysteretic damping type material such as dead soft steel so that the vibration energy of the superstructure can be absorbed when the pipe body 3 receives horizontal force at the time of an earthquake from the superstructure 1 and is deformed. Openings among the pipe bodies 3 and the piles 2 are filled with rubber bodies 5 as elastic bodies.
