To provide a vibration isolation structure capable of effectively reducing vibration of a structure while restraining construction cost.
The vibration isolation structure is for a building 1 constructed close to a vibration generating source. In the vibration isolation structure, a bracing wall 20 is constructed in an outer periphery of an underground skeleton 10 of the building 1. Vibration isolation rubbers 31A to 31D to intensively attenuate vibration which transmits from the bracing wall 20 to the underground skeleton 10 at floor levels of respective stories of the underground skeleton 10 are arranged between pieces of H-section steel 22 as core materials of the bracing wall 20 and outer peripheral portions at the floor levels of the respective stories of the underground skeleton 10.
