PURPOSE: To enhance heat resistance, reliability and vibration isolating performance of a fan motor without increasing the cost or the number of manufacturing steps by suppressing vibration of the rotor shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A fan 5 is constructed of an inner peripheral part 3 to be secured with a rotor shaft and an outer peripheral part 4 to be arranged with the vane 6 of the fan. An air gap 23 is provided between the inner peripheral part 3 and the outer peripheral part 4 which are coupled by means of a plurality of fasteners 2 thus obtaining a fan excellent in the vibration isolating performance. This structure eliminates the need of rubber vibration isolator thus enhancing heat resistance, reliability and vibration isolation performance without causing any increase in the cost or the number of manufacturing steps.
