To provide a vibration isolator for a vehicle of which the reduction effect of road noise is high.
The vibration isolator 10 for a vehicle includes a movable part 52 which does not contact with a suspension device 3 of a vehicle and is applied with vibration which has a phase opposite to that of vibration inputted in a body 2 by way of the suspension device 3, a vibrator 20 in which the movable part 52 is provided in coaxial with the suspension device 3, a housing case 40 which is secured to a support member 37 which supports the suspension device 3 to the body 2 for housing the vibrator 20, and a vibration detecting part 61 which is provided at the position having rigidity higher than that of the support member 37 where the vibration from the suspension device 3 is transmitted with no intervention of a portion whose rigidity is lower than the support member 37.
