To provide a vibration isolator capable of suppressing slipping-out of an elastic stopper out of an arcuate space portion.
The elastic stopper 20 is curved arcuately as a whole when viewed in the inserting direction P (in the axial direction S), in which the radius r2 of the end part of the tail 26 is made different from the radius r1 of the forefront of the tip part 22 before insertion into the arcuate space portion 18. This example of embodiment is based upon the conditions are (R1+R2)/2r1 and r2≥R2. Accordingly the tip part 22 is shaped to follow the arcuate space portion 18 for easy insertion to the arcuate space portion 18, while the tail 26 makes elastic deformation so as to meet r2≤R2 when insertion is made into the arcuate space portion 18, which causes the tail 26 of the middle portion 24 to abut to the outer side face in the radial direction of the arcuate space portion 18 after insertion owing to the restoring force.
