Abstract:

To simply and surely determine a marked specific vibration mode from among various vibration modes with respect to an axisymmetrical structure.

In this vibration mode determination method, a mode stimulus coefficient is calculated from the result of a calculation in tire characteristic frequency analysis (step S201). Then, the found stimulus coefficient is set as a mode index used for determining a vibration mode (step S202). The mode index is compared with a previously determined prescribed threshold Ms (step S203). If the mode index is not less than Ms, the vibration mode is determined to be a vibration mode to be marked in tire evaluation (step S204). If the mode index is less than Ms, the vibration mode is determined to be a vibration mode other than the vibration mode to be marked in tire evaluation (step S206).
