Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide vibration proof rubber with a metal fitting made of an aluminum alloy excellent in secondary machinability such as drawing and in adhesive property in corrosive environment.
CONSTITUTION: Vibration proof rubber with a metal fitting is formed of rubber 3 displaying vibration proofing action, and an inner cylinder metal fitting 1 and an outer cylinder metal fitting 2 respectively made of an aluminum alloy. In this vibration proof rubber with the metal fitting, the rubber 3 is vulcanization-bonded, through an adhesive layer, to the metal fittings with the surface made into the surface roughness of Rz=10-35μm by blasting and with chromate treatment of 50-200mg/m2 in film weight further applied thereon.
