Title:
VIBRATION PROOF STRUCTURE OF LAYER WITHOUT OIL-DAMPER IN INSTALLATION OF OIL-DAMPER THROUGH TWO OR MULTI-LAYER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3204095
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease partly increasing earthquake-response values in a layer without oil dampers, by installing oil-dampers in the structural face of every other layer or through multi-layer of a building.
SOLUTION: A long hole in which a dowel pin fixed to a brace 3 side is inserted, is bored, in the crossing of braces 3 of every other layer of a building constructed to form a X-shape. The braces 3 are horizontally connected with an oil damper 4 through a bracket so as to hold an auxiliary damper with the brace 3 side along both sides of the long hole. In this time, the braces 3 are assembled to form a V-shape at the upper layer and an inverted V-shape at the lower layer, at the structural face of a column 1 and a beam 2 and both brace heads are connected to each other through the bracket and the damper 4. The dowel pin prevents the deformation at the outside of the structural face of the brace 3 in the long hole and at the same time, the auxiliary dampers arranged at both sides of the dowel pin can bring out the correspondent attenuating effect.
