Abstract:
To provide a vibration-proof structure which can reduce vibration applied to a member, without increasing cost and weight than before.
A bolt 3 inserted into a through hole 2 formed in a member 1 of an engine is clearance fitted to a boss 4 so that a clearance 6 exists between a male screw portion 5 and a female screw hole 7 of the boss 4. By the movement of the bolt 3 relative to the boss 4, vibration energy applied to the member 1 is converted into thermal energy, and thus the vibration of the member 1 can be reduced.
