Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration proof underground wall that enables cost reduction while maintaining the global environment, and has safety and stability, and furthermore has high performance.SOLUTION: A vibration proof underground wall cuts off vibration transmitted on the ground from a vibration source. The vibration proof underground wall is formed as follows: continuous underground walls comprising steel sheet piles, soil cement or concrete are doubly placed at intervals; the walls are constituted of sandbags with soil filled inside of bags covered by double bracing walls formed of spaces therebetween and materials of light-weight and small impedance such as foamed resin; and the spaces of the double bracing walls are filled with a large number of the sandbags.
