Title:
VIBRATION REDUCER OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002195090
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate nonconformities caused by reduction in elasticity of an elastic member at a low temperature, in a device for reducing vibration of an output shaft of an internal combustion engine by using the elasticity of the elastic member, such as damper rubber.

A crack damper 43, having an electromagnetic clutch, is installed on a crankshaft 17 of an engine 11. The damper rubber is arranged on the electromagnetic clutch 10, and the crank damper 43 reduces vibration followed through the rotation of the crankshaft 17, by using the elasticity of the damper rubber. A temperature sensor 68 for detecting the temperature of the damper rubber is arranged in the vicinity of the crank damper 43. An electronic control unit(ECU) 71 restricts the rotating speed of the crankshaft 17, according to the temperature of the damper rubber by the temperature sensor 68, and reduces the vibration itself of the crankshaft 17 up to the degree which is absorbable, even by the damper rubber reduced in the elasticity according to a temperature drop.
