Title:
VIBRATION REDUCER OF STRUT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03284406
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce interior transmission of the vibration of a wheel, and to improve interior tranquility by outputting an inversion signal of reverse phase to the vibration of a strut that is detected by a vibration sensor, from an inversion means, and by exciting the connection between the strut and a car body synchronously with the inversion signal, through an excitation means.

CONSTITUTION: When a wheel 13 is vibrated in an upper direction due to the unevenness on a road surface, the vibration is transmitted to a lower arm 10 through a steering arm 12, and a strut 8 is vibrated thereby in an upper direction. The vibration is detected by a vibration sensor 1, and the detection thereof is output to an inversion amplifier 2, from which the inversion signal whose phase is reverse to the vibration signal is output to a control part 4, while the degree to which a moving part 72 of an actuator 7 is to be driven in a lower direction, is calculated by the control part, based on the inversion signal, and a coil 71 of the actuator 7 is excited according to the degree of driving. The moving part 72 is vibrated in a lower direction thereby, and a car body frame 9 is excited in a lower direction through a bracket 70. The vibration of the car body frame 9 is thus hindered.
