PURPOSE: To reduce vibration of an enclosed type compressor, by a method wherein a motor and a compression mechanism part driven by this motor are disposed within an enclosed container, and the compression mechanism part is attached to the stator part of the motor through a mounting metal.
CONSTITUTION: A compression mechanism part 3 is attached to a stator part 2a of a motor part 2 through an annular mounting metal 13 by means of bolts 14. Since the stator part 2a is of a laminated structure, high damping is provided, and an exciting force, exerted on the compression mechanism part 3, is reduced as a result of high damping being provided when the force is propagated to the stator part 2a in form of vibration, whereby an enclosed type compressor may be damped in its vibration.
