Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reduction device for a rotating shaft capable of providing a large vibration reduction effect.
SOLUTION: This vibration reduction device comprises a ring-shaped fixed member 1 fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft 5, a tubular mass member 2 co-axially disposed on the outside of the rotating shaft 5 through a distance, a ring-shaped elastic support member 3 connected to one end part of the mass member 2 and the fixed member 1 and elastically supporting one end part of the mass member 2 in the shearing direction, and a ring-shaped elastic projected body 4 projectedly provided on the other end part inner peripheral surface of the mass member 2 in the radial inner direction and forming a minute clearance C between the projected end and the rotating shaft 5.
