Abstract:
To provide a vibration reduction structure for an internal combustion engine, capable of reducing the vertical vibration of the internal combustion engine by making a mass body accompanying the internal combustion engine function as a dynamic damper.SOLUTION: A vibration reduction structure 100 for an internal combustion engine includes an engine 1 having a cylinder block 1a and a cylinder head 1b, a DOC 13 provided in an exhaust system 10 for the engine 1, stays 20 which are fixed to an upper face 1d of the cylinder head 1b and via which the DOC 13 is mounted to the engine 1, and elastic members 30 for making the DOC 13 function as the dynamic damper for the vertical vibration of the engine 1, the DOC 13 being located above the engine 1 via the elastic members 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
