PURPOSE: To make a vertical layer connecting part vibration-resistant and prevent its destruction by providing structural material for partitioning each story doubly and individually at vertical layers, and force-fixing shock absorbers interposingly between the vertical structural material.

CONSTITUTION: The upper part of the first story 3 and the lower part of the second story 4 of a building 1 are provided with girders 6 and beams 7 spaced in the vertically double state. Shock absorbers 8 formed of plate springs and the like are then force-fixed interposingly between the vertical girders 6 and beams 7. An urethane foaming resin layer 24 is filled between the vertical girders 6 surrounding the periphery of the building 1. Steel-made connecting arms 26 for regulating the spacing of the vertical layers are fitted rotatably between the vertical girders 6 and beams 7. There are further provided with armoring material 10, tubing 11, wall material, floor material, ceiling boards, and the like to be fitted. As a result, each structure can be held rigidly, individually at the upper and lower layers at the time of earthquake, strong wind, or the like, as well as the structural destruction of the connected parts can be prevented effectively.
