Title:
VIBRATION SENSOR, VIBRATION SENSOR UNIT AND PEDOMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003157423
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vibration sensor, a vibration sensor unit and a pedometer capable of consistently detecting a unidirectional vibration component in a certain magnitude at a low cost.

By using a vibration sensor formed in such a shape that bend is produced in all the directions such as the vibration sensor 2 composed of a cantilever, at least part of which is off a line connecting a gravity center and a fixed end or as the vibration sensor composed of the cantilever in a shape forming a free end extended from a fixed end in a plurality of directions, it is possible to consistently obtain a practicable output in a constant magnitude for the vertical direction when a vertical vibration due to walking is sensed irrespective of the direction of a single vibration sensor.
