Abstract:
To provide a vibration suppression device of a structure capable of preventing buckling of a connection member by reducing reaction force caused by rotational inertia mass of a rotary mass when a rotational inertia mass damper is contracted by vibration of the structure and thereby properly suppressing the vibration of the structure.SOLUTION: The inside of a cylinder filled with working fluid is divided into a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber by a piston, and a piston rod connected to the piston is extended outward in an axial direction from the cylinder through the second fluid chamber. The flow of working fluid in a first communication passage communicated with the first and second fluid chambers is converted into a rotating motion of a rotary mass in a flow conversion mechanism. The flow of working fluid from the first fluid chamber to a second communication passage is allowed and the flow of working fluid from the second fluid chamber to the second communication passage is limited by a valve for the second communication passage provided in the second communication passage communicated with the first and second fluid chambers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
