Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration testing apparatus and a method for controlling a vibration testing apparatus whereby a magnetic flux density can be small at a shift.velocity area of a low frequency region not requiring a maximum shaking force, and can be large at a high frequency region requiring the maximum shaking force by continuously varying a current to be sent to an exciting coil.
SOLUTION: At an area of not larger than a predetermined frequency F1, an exciting current variable circuit 10 controls a d.c. voltage value to be impressed to an exciting coil 4 to a low voltage. Between the frequency F1 and a predetermined frequency F2, the circuit continuously varies the d.c. voltage to be impressed to the exciting coil 4. At an area of not smaller than the frequency F2, the circuit controls the d.c. voltage value to be impressed to the exciting coil 4 to a value whereby an induction type vibration testing apparatus 1 can exert a maximum shaking force.
