Abstract:

To provide a vibration transmission property analyzer for engine block and a method of vibration transmission property analysis using the above analyzer, in order to obtain knocking vibration characteristic, etc. in engine.

The analyzer contains a cylinder block 161 and a cylinder head 162, and an excitation device the excitation shaft of which is connected to a knock sensor mounting boss 163 installed in the cylinder block 161. In the position facing the knock sensor mounting boss 163 inside a cylinder bore 161A of the cylinder block 161, a cylinder block vibration sensor 310 is arranged. Further a cylinder head vibration sensor 320 as a cylinder head vibration measuring device is arranged on a plug hole 162p provided on the cylinder head 162.
