Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an accurate determination of the state of an object to be determined based on vibration waves, which occur at the operation of the object, even when a plurality of different objects are determined.
SOLUTION: A vibration wave determining apparatus includes a vibration wave inputting means 2 for detecting the vibration waves occurring at the operation of the object, signal processing means 6, 7 for extracting a first time-series signal for each predefined frequencies, which produce an objective operation sound showing prescribed operation states of the object occurs, by frequency-separating input vibration waves. A plurality of individual compensating tables 82 those are set for each of a plurality of different objects and therewith compensating coefficients for compensating the levels of the first time-series signals are set, a compensating table means 8 that is capable of selecting the individual compensating tables 82 in response to a selected command signal corresponding to the objects, a compensating means 10 for compensating the levels of the first time-series signal for each predefined frequencies to generate a second time-series signal based on the compensating coefficients of the selected compensating tables 82, and a determining means 11 for determining the state of the object based on the second time-series signals.
