Title:
VIBRATION WAVEFORM DISTINGUISHING METHOD AND DISTINGUISHING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3392552
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically distinguish existing waveforms with similar characteristic patterns without carrying out complicated computation by imputing a pattern, which is measured in two X-, Y-directions, of a locus of an average vibration waveform of one turn of an axial vibration signal of a rotary body, to a neural network which has already learned patterns.
CONSTITUTION: Upon receiving an instruction sent from a controlling part 6, a signal input part 5 receives an output signal measured in two X-, Y-directions of a rotary shaft 1 by shaft vibration meters 2, 3 and inputs a plurality of turns of a signal, which is one pulse per one turn, of a rotary pulse meter 4 to neural network. A pretreatment part 7 divides the inputted vibration data into blocks corresponding every time duration for every one turn and produce average vibration waveform data for one turn. Then, the obtained locus of the average vibration waveform of one turn is drawn on an X-Y plane divided into small regions between the maximum values and the minimum values in the X-axis and the Y-axis. The pretreatment part 7 outputs the values of a standardized histogram as a characteristic pattern and a waveform learning part 8 learns the characteristic pattern of the obtained locus from a neural network.
