The impact equal to that in actual hitting, is applied to the racket by impact of a ball to the racket, an acceleration generated on the racket in the impact is measured while dividing the same into an acceleration of a frequency zone of 0 Hz or more to 1000 Hz or less, and that of a frequency zone of 300 Hz or more and 1000 Hz or less, an attenuation ratio of each acceleration is calculated on the basis of the time history data of each acceleration obtained by measurement, and the vibrational characteristic generated on the racket in actual hitting is evaluated on the basis of the attenuation ratio of the accelerations of different frequency zones.
