PURPOSE: To provide a vibrator for pager in which vibration efficiency is enhanced while lowering mechanical load.
CONSTITUTION: The vibrator 11 for pager comprises a motor 15 and rotary weights 12a, 12b. The motor 15 is provided with a permanent magnet 50 on the case 9 side wherein the rotary shaft 80 is born by bearings 56a, 56b and secured to the rotor part, i.e., a commutator 52, and a coil 54. The rotary weights 12a, 12b are disposed eccentrically at the opposite ends of the rotary shaft 80 on the outside of the case 9 and driving current is fed to the coil 54 from a brush 10 disposed closely to the rotary weight 12a. Consequently, the coil 54 begins to rotate about the permanent magnet 50 to cause rotation of the rotary shaft 80 thus generating thrust in the rotary weights 12a, 12b in the opposite directions. Since the thrust is offset, frictional load is not increased even if the motor is rotated at high speed.
