Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase vibration reducing effect of a vobro-isolating mount by selecting a fluid having a specific gravity of 1.2 or more for filling in a sealed chamber of the vibro-isolating mount. CONSTITUTION:Sealed chambers 18a and 18b of this vibro-isolating mount are filled with a liquid, whose chief ingredient is a liquid metal or an aqueous solution of salt, for example, liquid dispersed with fine particles of zinc iodide or ammonium iodide such as magnetic fluid, having a specific gravity of 1.2 or more. Therefore, because of the fact that the damping effect of a liquid depends on the weight of the liquid, a larger damping effect can be obtained.
