PURPOSE: To provide a vice, by which the angle can be correctly obtained even if matters to be fixed are of various sizes, and the matter to be fixed can be firmly fixed always stably vertically and horizontally, that can be manufactured easily.

CONSTITUTION: Angle control devices F, F' are provided on both end surfaces of the fixed side and movable side mouthpieces 6, 8 of a fixed body 5 and a movable body 7, a wide matter O to be fixed is indexed by a twin tong. 5, and further recessed parts are provided on the respective thin wall parts of the fixed side and movable side mouthpieces 6, 8. The respective independent clicks 13, 19 are not brought into contact with the thin wall parts, anti-slipping plates are slightly projected on the contacting surfaces of the respective independent clicks 13, 19, the respective independent clicks 13, 19 are worked to be cylindrical by a detent mechanism, and further Z-shaped mouthpieces are provided on the fixed side and movable side mouthpieces 6, 8 so as to fix a wide matter O to be fixed.
