To provide a recording device or a method capable of automatically creating a video acoustic content efficiently viewable with a portable reproducer in a short time, as well as creating a video acoustic content to be usually reproduced with an installed device without improving the hardware specifications of the portable reproducer for special reproduction such as conversion in reproducing speed.
In order to solve the conventional problem, a content reproducible at a usual reproducing speed is recorded in a first recording medium for home use, and a content to which processing for shortening a reproduction time is applied in advance is recorded in a second recording medium for mobile use. By doing this, short-time viewing with mobile use can be realized without improving the hardware specifications of the mobile device.
