Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resolution feeling for synthetic image data.SOLUTION: A plurality of light receiving elements 60, 60, ...are divided into a plurality of line units, each of which is formed by light receiving elements 60, 60, ... equivalent to two lines arranged in the vertical direction. A shutter drive circuit 76 performs exposure according to short exposure time or long exposure time on an imaging surface, every 1/60 second. A vertical scan circuit 74 and a horizontal scan circuit 72 output raw image data of one field based on electric charge generated in an odd number line unit or even number line unit, every 1/60 second. Synthetic image data is generated on the basis of raw image data of consecutive two fields, every 1/30 second. Exposure time is switched between the short exposure time and long exposure time, every 1/60 second; and a line unit from which electric charge is retrieved is switched between the odd number line unit and even number line unit, every 1/30.
