Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method which makes an infant concentrate and which hardly makes an infant get tired of, in a long term.SOLUTION: A video chat robot system comprises: a hand mechanism which is provided on a robot, which imitates a hand, and which has a state in which an article can be mounted and a state in which the article is taken in and hidden; a video chat part which provides a function for performing a video chat between the robot and a terminal of a communication partner; and a control part for controlling the hand mechanism to the state in which the article is taken in and hidden, according to mount of the article on the hand mechanism, combining a video indicating the article to a video in which the communication partner on the video chat is imaged, in the state, then deleting the video indicating the article on the video chat, according to a return instruction of the communication partner, and controlling the hand mechanism to the state in which the article can be mounted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
