PURPOSE: To provide a video conference system capable of surely executing video conference at the required time and date.

CONSTITUTION: An input part for inputting picture data and voice data, an output part for outputting picture data and voice data, a transmitting part for executing transmission picture data and voice data with a remote place, a control part for controlling the input part, the output part and the transmitting part are provided in the video conference system which is provided with a storage device 19, a controller 18 for detecting the use of the video conference system, storing the reservation of the video conference system in the storage device 19 and preparing and controlling a reservation table and an alarm signal generating device 20 for outputting an alarm signal for the video conference system at an informing time limit based on the reservation table. The alarm signal generating device 20 is constituted by informing the remaining time of reservation time in the video conference to an own station and the other party station via an alarm signal adding device 21 as the informing time limit for outputting the alarm signal when the video conference system is used.
