PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend video contents that satisfy a viewer, by analyzing evaluations of an expectation degree and an experience point.SOLUTION: A video content recommend device comprises storage means for storing an expectation degree and an experience point for each of video contents as viewer properties. The expectation degree is a degree of expecting interest of the video contents evaluated by a viewer before viewing the video contents, and the experience point is a degree of interest based on a viewing experience of the video contents evaluated by the viewer after viewing the video contents. Average values of the expectation degrees and the experience points stored in the storage means are calculated, and a gap value is calculated by subtracting the average value of the expectation degrees from the average value of the experience points, and stored in gap list storage means. On the basis of a result of comparing the gap values in recommend list storage means in which gap values of video contents recommended until the previous time are stored, and that in the gap list storage means, video contents to be recommended are determined.
