Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a video-on-demand system which can transmit much video information to many user terminals.

CONSTITUTION: Plural storage devices 10-13 partially store video information divided into prescribed length. Plural video transmission devices 30-33 transmit video information from the storage devices 10-13 to plural user terminals 400-433. A network 2 simultaneously connects the groups of the mutually different storage devices 10-13 and the video transmission device 30- -33 and transmits video information stored in the storage devices 10-13 to the video transmission devices 30-33.
