PURPOSE: To provide an optical video disk player and a signal processor which can reproduce the voice signal of a high fidelity without being affected by jitter or clock precision.

CONSTITUTION: A digital voice signal processing part 19 reproduces a digital voice signal based on a system clock signal supplied from a liquid crystal oscillator 51. The jitter is not included in the system clock signal, and the voice signal of the high fidelity can be reproduced. Also a VCXO 52 generates a clock signal according to an error between the system clock signal and a frame synchronizing signal, and a motor 12 which drives a video disk is controlled according to a phase error between a synchronizing signal included in a video signal and the clock signal from the VCXO 52. Therefore, the jitter included in the clock signal can be controlled through the motor 12.
