Abstract:
To solve the problem in which, in a projection type video display device such as a head-up display, if an object of a projection destination has unevenness, a video is distorted, although by projecting a plurality of patterns with the video display device and photographing it, a shape of a subject of the projection destination is estimated and by performing geometric correction of the video in advance on the basis of the estimation result, it is possible to reduce the distortion of the video, if a part of the pattern is blocked by some obstacle, it is not possible to correctly perform geometric correction of the video.SOLUTION: According to a shape of a shielding subject, mask processing is performed to a pattern to be projected, and processing in consideration of the mask also when estimating the shape of an object from a captured video is performed to realize correct geometric correction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
