Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device adopting a restriction configuration of "full block in default, primary pass in coincidence with permission conditions and final pass permission with application of block condition to the primary pass" and a television system.SOLUTION: The video display device for receiving digital broadcasting for transmitting program information corresponding to each of programs comprises: first setting means capable of setting first information for permission for permitting viewing of each program; second setting means capable of setting second information for block for blocking viewing of each program; and control means in which the first information set by the first setting means is compared with each program, when there is a first program that is matched, the second information set by the second setting means is compared with the first program and when there is a second program that is not matched, viewing of the second program is permitted.
