Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video project editing method for editing a video clip and a transition effect by a user.
SOLUTION: In this method, a time line and a plurality of tracks along the time line are provided, and a video clip and a transition effect are inserted into the corresponding track. The time line is separated into a plurality of segments so that the each segment corresponds to a combination capable of discrimination of the video clip and the transition effect. A limited number of thumbnails extracted from the corresponding video clip for each segment or an icon indicating the corresponding transition effect for each segment is displayed on each track. In this way, the user can edit the video project on the plurality of tracks without changing the unit of time line.
