Abstract:
To provide a technique for generating a video to create an illusion of continuous motion by adding an arbitrary number of images on two original images on the basis of motion detection properties in the human visual system.SOLUTION: A video generating device generates a video for making an observer who views a presentation when a unit video for presentation is repeatedly and continuously presented perceive a viewed object as if it were moving continuously. The video generating device includes an additional image generating unit that generates N additional images using a first original image, which is a certain image, and a second original image, which is a different image from the first original image by assuming N as an integer equal to or greater than 1 and a presentation video generating unit for generating a set of N+2 images as a presentation unit video, consisting of the first original image, the second original image, and the N additional images. The additional image generating unit generates N additional images so that the kinetic energies per unit time when presented are as equal as possible between two adjacent images when presented in N+2 images included in the unit image for presentation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
