Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary the image pickup magnification of a subject over a wide range through one action without requiring the change of a lens and to simultaneously automatically set magnification and a focus in a video microscope.
SOLUTION: An objective distance between a subject and a lens system is driven and adjusted by a motor integrally driving a mechanism for adjusting the internal sliding of a lens barrel 21 which incorporates a lens system and where an illuminating light 23 for the subject is arranged with respect to an observation stand 11 facing to the subject and a position sensor detecting the position of the mechanism; and a subject image forming distance between the subject and a two-dimensional CCD element is driven and adjusted by a motor integrally driving a mechanism for adjusting the sliding of a video signal conversion part cylinder 31 equipped with the two-dimensional CCD element 32 capable of internal sliding with respect to the lens barrel with respect to the observation stand and a position sensor detecting the position of the mechanism; then, a video magnification setting device and an arithmetic and control unit which are separately prepared are used so that the objective distance and the subject image forming distance corresponding to video magnification may agree with a specified relational expression simultaneously.
