Abstract:
To display a 1st video signal of a non-interlace scanning and a 2nd signal of an interlace scanning on one video display device as 2-screen display.
A 1H interleave and horizontal processing circuit 201 selects selection/non-selection for each 1H for a 1st video signal Sa to conduct interleave processing in the unit of 1H and expands a selected scanning line lpi1 or the like in a range not in excess of 2H period. A slave pattern processing circuit 202, a 2d video signal Sb is synchronously with the 1st video signal Sa and compressed at an optional ratio of one or below. A signal changeover section 203 selects alternately the 1st video signal Sa' from the circuit 201 or the 2nd video signal Sb' from the circuit 202 for 2H.
