The video receiver is provided with a position information management means which manages positional information of videos being recorded when received broadcasting videos are being recorded on a recording medium, a receiving means which receives a print reservation instruction externally sent for making a printer print the received broadcasting videos, and a print control means which controls a recorder so that when the receiving means has received the print reservation instruction, positional information of recording videos, which is under the management of the position information management means is recorded if the received broadcasting videos are being recorded in the recording medium and records the received broadcasting videos in the recording medium as print reservation videos if the received broadcasting videos are not being recorded in the recording medium. As a result, the broadcasting videos are made possible to be recorded and printed without wasting a recording region of the recording medium.
