Abstract:
To provide a video recording device and a video recording device control program that do not erroneously execute a process not intended by a user even if the device is dropped from a vehicle without any operation to remove it from the vehicle.SOLUTION: A video recording device includes: a dropout data generating unit that generates dropout data indicating that any event occurs in which the video recording device is dropped from a vehicle without any operation to remove the video recording device from the vehicle; and a control unit that controls the video recording device to disable operation of an interface used to operate the video recording device when the dropout data is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
