To provide a printing system, which simplifies the operation at the printing to a CD label and reduces misprinting in a printer capable of directly communicating with a digital camera.
This video recording system includes: a rectangular recording medium supplying means for supplying a rectangular recording medium to a recording means; a concentrically circular recording medium supplying means for supplying a concentrically circular recording medium to the recording means; a supplying means switching means for switching between the rectangular recording supplying means and the concentrically circular recording medium supplying means; and a standard recording setting changing means for changing the recording setting of the recording means from the switching conditions of the supplying means switching means under the condition that the recording setting changing means sets the recording setting of the recording means to a first recording setting for the rectangular recording medium when the switching state of the supplying means switching means is allotted to the rectangular recording medium supplying means, while sets the recording setting of the recording means to a second recording setting for the concentrically circular recording medium when the switching state of the supplying means switching means is allotted to the concentrically circular recording medium supplying means.
